ORTHOPÄDIE + REHA-TECHNIK 2012 has issued a final call for papers. The four-day world congress begins on May 15, 2012, in Leipzig, Germany. The international trade show will begin the following day.
Abstracts for poster or free paper presentations must be submitted for online review by September 30, 2011. Abstracts must be submitted electronically through the congress website: www.confairmed.de/abstractsubmission. All abstracts will be assessed in a peer review procedure.
Topics suitable for presentation at the congress include prosthetics, orthotics, foot and shoe, rehabilitation, rehabilitation technologies (seating and wheelchairs), and open topics (developing countries, appropriate technologies, materials research, and measurement techniques).
All names will be removed from abstracts before they are distributed to assigned reviewers for the assessment and comment process. Authors will be notified of the outcome of the review process by the end of November 2011.
Congress languages are German and English. Simultaneous translations into both languages will be offered. Abstracts of accepted free papers will be translated in the other language.
Free papers at the congress will be presented in podium/oral or poster format. Posters will be displayed in the poster exhibition in front of the lecture halls. Poster presentations and viewings will be held daily during lunch break.
All abstracts will be published on the congress website.
