The Scientific Congress Committee of the ORTHOPÄDIE + REHA-TECHNIK 2012, to be held May 15-18 in Leipzig, Germany, has issued a call for papers. Technicians, engineers, therapists, and doctors are invited to submit their contributions to the World Congress. The focal subject for the 2012 event will be orthotics. Further subject fields are prosthetics, orthopedic footwear technology, adjusted technologies/developing countries, material research, and open topics such as compression therapy and rehabilitation.
German or English abstracts can be submitted online.
All abstracts will be anonymized and distributed to at least two assigned reviewers for assessment and comment. On the basis of these reviews, the program committee will allocate accepted papers to an appropriate free paper or poster session.
The deadline for submitting abstracts is September 30, 2011. Authors will be notified of the outcome of the review process by the end of November 2011.
