The International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO) Protocol Committee has issued a call to all ISPO member societies and members to propose nominations for the 2013 ISPO executive board. According to the committee, all members who would be strong contributors to the ISPO mission are eligible for nomination. The deadline for receipt of all nominations is July 2012.
The committee added that nominations of candidates from a broad range of disciplines and countries would help to create a slate of officers that is reflective of the diversity of ISPO members.
Nominations should be sent to [email protected] and should provide the following details:
- First and last name of the candidate.
- E-mail address.
- Phone number.
- Country of residence.
- Citizenship.
- Profession.
- A brief biography or curriculum vitae of the candidate.
- Short summary from the nominator highlighting the reasons why this individual is an appropriate candidate.
- A vision statement from the candidate, highlighting his/her motivation to serve on the executive board.
