The American Orthotic & Prosthetic Association (AOPA) has announced the following persons to positions on the 2012 board of directors, effective December 1:
- President (second term): Tom DiBello, CO, FAAOP
- Immediate past president (second term): James A. Kaiser, CP
- President-elect: Tom Kirk, PhD
- Vice president: Anita Liberman-Lampear, MA
- Treasurer: Jim Weber, MBA
Also joining the leadership team as new board members are Michael Oros, CPO, FAAOP, Scheck & Siress, Oak Park Terrace, Illinois; and Ronald Manganiello, CEO of New England Orthotic & Prosthetic Systems, Branford, Connecticut. Oros represents four- to ten-facility operations on the board, and Manganiello was elected to an at-large seat. Frank Vero, CPO, another veteran board member, was elected to complete Liberman-Lampear’s remaining year representing one- to three-facility operations.
