Ohio’s Columbus Business First newspaper named WillowWood, Mt. Sterling, Ohio, as one of the top 50 places to work in central Ohio, at an award luncheon that was held November 9.
The newspaper’s annual “Best Places to Work” survey focuses on employee morale, engagement, and retention for micro, small, medium, and large companies. WillowWood was ranked as one of the top-ten, medium-sized companies (defined as having 100-499 employees) to work for in central Ohio.
The selection process began late this summer after WillowWood was nominated for the award. Employees completed an online survey that focused on workplace issues such as communications, benefits, company leadership, staff unity, and team dependability. WillowWood’s wellness program, which includes a new outdoor walking path, employee recognition programs, and opportunities for personal development, were noted as outstanding benefits offered by the company.
