Hanger Orthopedic Group, Austin, Texas, unveiled its new branding today at its Annual Hanger Education Fair and National Meeting, taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada, January 31-Feburary 2.
Subject to shareholder approval at the company’s annual shareholder meeting in May, Hanger Orthopedic Group will be renamed “HangerSM,” and Hanger Prosthetics & Orthotics will be referred to as “Hanger Clinic.” The new Hanger and Hanger Clinic logos, and the “Empower Mark,” symbolize a beacon of hope for Hanger’s clients, said a company press release. According to Tom Kirk, CEO, Hanger’s new adage, “‘Empowering Human Potential,’ is more than a tagline, it’s a mantra.”
According to Kirk, the new branding represents a cultural shift, and the company is forging new pathways to potential.
