The American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists (the Academy) announced the results of its recent election of officers and board of directors. Terms began July 1 and are for the 2012-2013 operating year.
Bruce “Mac” McClellan, CPO, LPO, FISPO, FAAOP, is the new president, while last year’s president, Mark D. Muller, MS, CPO, FAAOP, became the immediate past president. Michelle J. Hall, CPO, FAAOP, was chosen as president-elect; Phillip M. Stevens, MEd, CPO, FAAOP, was elected vice president; and M. Jason Highsmith, PT, DPT, CP, FAAOP, was elected treasurer. Peter Rosenstein, executive director of the Academy, is also serving the executive board as ex-officio.
The elected at-large board members include Michael J. Allen, CPO, FAAOP; Kevin Carroll, MS, CP, FAAOP; Donald R. Cummings, CP, LP; Alicia J. Davis, MPA, CPO, FAAOP; Leigh Davis, CPO; and Nelson LeMarquand, MS, CO, LO, FAAOP.
