OPAF and The First Clinics partnered with the Mutual Amputee Aid Foundation (MAAF) to introduce the First Target Archery Clinic on October 28 at the Woodley Park Archery Range, Encino, California.
“Jim McIntosh, our master instructor, was perfect in his training and safety coverage for all 13 of our participants,” said Phil Tamoush, MAAF president. “He spent 15 minutes on safety issues, then worked with each participant individually on shooting style and gave them sufficient time for free shooting. While it did involve some real exercise for some of the participants, it was a fun time….”
The clinic will be scheduled again with a half-hour session for beginners and two hours of free shooting.
