The International Paralympics Committee (IPC) has announced that six IPC Athletics Grand Prix events will be staged in 2013, building on the success of the 2012 London Paralympic Games. The events will start in March with a three-day meet in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, then head to Beijing, China; Sao Paulo, Brazil; Grosseto, Italy; Mesa, Arizona; and Berlin, Germany.
The aim of the Grand Prix, among other things, is to provide high-level international competition and give Paralympic athletes greater opportunities to compete.
