The Amputee Coalition is accepting applications for the 2013-2014 Christina Skoski, MD, Scholarship. The application deadline is April 8.
The one-time, $1,000 scholarship is open to full-time undergraduate students who have a congenital limb difference or an amputation, a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.5, and a minimum ACT score of 28 or SAT score of 1980. The student or the student’s parent or legal guardian must also be a registered friend of the Amputee Coalition.
Applications will be accepted through online submission only. The applicant must mail the supporting documentation of transcripts and test scores, a letter of recommendation, and a personal statement prior to the deadline. The scholarship recipient will be announced no later than June 10. The award will be made in one payment to the student’s higher education institution upon verification of full-time undergraduate status.
