Ottobock, Duderstadt, Germany, has won iF product design awards for the Patella Pro orthosis, the Michelangelo Hand, and for the Soft Backs orthosis line. Ottobock also received an iF communication design award for corporate design. Ottobock employees accepted the awards February 22 as part of the Munich, Germany, Creative Business Week.
For the 2013 iF design awards, its 60th anniversary, more than 4,300 contributions from 51 countries were considered and 1,410 awards were handed out: 981 product design awards, 346 communication design awards, and 83 packaging design.
Ottobock, along with the other 2013 iF design award winners, will be presented at CeBIT, the world’s largest high-tech tradeshow, to be held March 5-9 in Hannover, Germany. CeBit expects more than 300,000 attendees and more than 4,000 companies from 70 countries at the 2013 show.
