Garrison’s Prosthetic Services, North Miami Beach and Pompano Beach, Florida, received an honorable mention in the Rehabilitation Case Management category at the fourth annual Case In Point Platinum Awards on May 7, 2013. Garrison’s Prosthetic Services and owner Kevin Garrison, CP, LP, were honored for “leading an effort for physicians, therapists, and patients to work together in the area of prosthetics.”
According to the Dorland Health website, the producer of the awards program, the Case In Point Platinum Awards program recognizes individuals and organizations in healthcare who have created a program or a practice that has contributed to changing the way healthcare is delivered; improved quality of care; educated patients and their families to be actively engaged in their care; affected change in their organization; improved consumer, payer, and provider collaboration in their organization; developed a creative or innovative program that has been successful in ensuring access to safe, effective, quality care that meet the needs of the individual patient; or found ways to lower healthcare costs while improving quality and access to care.
