The American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics (ABC) has announced that Patrick Cannon has been named the director of facility accreditation. His responsibilities will be to strengthen ABC’s accreditation team and enhance service to accredited facilities.
Prior to ABC, Cannon was the program evaluator for the developmental disabilities division for the state of Delaware, where he was responsible for statewide program evaluation and monitoring of residential and day habilitation programs to ensure adherence to Delaware Health and Human Services standards and policy, Medicare/Medicaid compliance, accreditation, and intermediate care facility standards and policies for clients with developmental disabilities.
“I’m so pleased that Pat has joined the ABC facility accreditation staff,” said Catherine A. Carter, executive director. “He brings a diverse skill set, including vast experience in accreditation, that will benefit our facilities, partners, and program.”
