Therafirm, headquartered in Kansas City, Kansas, a division of Knit-Rite, Kansas City, Kansas, has relocated its textile manufacturing facility from Ellerbe, North Carolina, to Hamlet, North Carolina. According to a Knit-Rite press release, the new state-of-the-art facility offers expanded capabilities and capacity for Therafirm.
“We are proud of our 90 years in the medical textile business and our continued commitment to producing American-made textiles, along with being grateful for the opportunities we have to contribute to innovative solutions for our customers and good jobs for our people and the U.S. economy,” said Knit-Rite President and CEO Mark Smith. “We are excited to locate our plant here and look forward to growing in Hamlet in the years to come.”
