The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has announced that it will be hosting the next open door forum (ODF) to discuss the suggested Lower Limb Prosthesis Electronic Clinical Template on Wednesday, July 31, from 1-2 p.m. ET. Physicians, prosthetists, and other interested parties are invited to join the ODF to give feedback on the proposed template. At the conclusion of the ODF calls, CMS plans to forward the resulting list of clinical elements to the electronic Determination of Coverage (eDoC) workgroup, which is focused on giving practitioners access to payer-approved tools. Comments on the document can be sent to eclinicaltemplate@cms.hhs.gov
