The Orthotics & Prosthetics Association of India (OPAI) has issued a call for abstracts of scientific papers to be presented at its national conference slated for February 14-16, 2014, in Chennai, India. Abstracts should describe new devices and procedures, the resulted of scientific investigation, or other issues related to O&P. Topics to be covered include orthotics for the upper- and lower-limb, spine, and feet; upper- and lower-limb prosthetics; education; mobility aids; congenital anomaly, and development of an evidence-based practice. Submissions are being accepted only by e-mail to [email protected]. The abstract submission deadline is November 30.
Abstracts must be submitted in English and should be no more than 500 words. The complete paper should not exceed three single-spaced pages, including tables and graphs. Presentation of the accepted papers must be no more than 15 minutes, including discussion time.
Authors whose papers are accepted will be notified by December 15, and the completed scientific paper must be submitted by December 30.
