BenderA new prosthetics fairings and accessories company, UNYQ, San Francisco, California, has been launched by Eythor Bender, cofounder and CEO. He is joined by Manuel Boza, chief creative officer. The company also has a design studio in Seville, Spain.
Bender is the former CEO of FitBionic, Boulder, Colorado, and of Ekso Bionics, Richmond, California. Prior to that he was the president of Össur Americas, Foothill Ranch, California. Boza, who has a transfemoral amputation, is an engineer who specializes in robotics. He formerly managed sales in southern Europe for Össur, Reykjavik, Iceland.
