On June 10-14, OPAF hosted wheelchair and adaptive tennis clinics in Rock Hill and Greenville, South Carolina, and Cary, Fayetteville, and Greensboro, North Carolina. Clinics were led by Karin Korb, a two-time member of the U.S. Paralympic tennis team and tennis coach. More than 50 participants and 100 volunteers participated in the clinics.
One participant, Martha Childress, was selected by Korb to attend the upcoming teen wheelchair tennis camp in Aliso Viejo, California, and will be coached by Korb. This is the second year that Korb has selected a teen from the Carolinas to attend the camp.
