UNYQ, San Francisco, California, has closed its seed-round funding at $1,050,000. The company began a direct-to-consumer e-commerce site in May where those with lower-limb amputations can design custom 3D printed fairings or other prosthetic ornamentation.
“The seed funding will enable us to invest in state-of-the-art 3D printers and related technologies,” said Eythor Bender, the company’s cofounder and CEO.
