Ottobock, Minneapolis, Minnesota, announced the addition of a technical orthopedics Midwest sales region as part of its realignment from three to four U.S. regions. The new sales region took effect July 1. Brian Long, who has been with the company since January 2012, has been promoted from territory sales representative for North Texas and Oklahoma to Midwest regional sales manager. The Midwest region includes 12 states: Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Arkansas.
“In addition to his success with Ottobock managing and growing the largest territory, Brian’s experience includes developing strong relationships with physicians and corporate executives throughout the medical device industry,” said Walter Governor, Ottobock’s national director of sales for technical orthopedics. “His proven track record and excellent organizational and communication skills recommends him for his new position as regional sales manager, and we look forward to his contributions.”
