On October 1, the Alabama State Board of Prosthetists and Orthotists began allowing prosthetists, orthotists, pedorthists, O&P assistants and fitters, and orthotic suppliers to renew their licenses online. The service, which will be available through January 31, 2015, will also permit online renewal of facility accreditation.
The license renewal application can be accessed through the board’s website or through www.alabama.gov in the Professional section.
