The Pedorthic Footcare Association (PFA) has issued a call for abstracts for its 56th Annual Symposium & Exhibition to be held July 23-26, 2015, in conjunction with the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) Annual Scientific Meeting, at the Orlando World Center Marriott, Florida. The submission deadline is December 15.
PFA is seeking presentations that address topics about diabetes, sports medicine, general pedorthics, geriatrics, retail and practice management, and medical pathologies/pedorthic treatments. PFA is also accepting abstracts on topics such as clinical techniques and best practices, fabrication techniques and hands-on demonstrations, literature reviews, research, and product or device descriptions or reviews. Abstracts must be submitted using the 2015 Call for Speaker Presentations Form found on the PFA website.
Abstracts will be reviewed by PFA’s Council on Pedorthic Education (COPE), and those selected for presentation at the symposium will be assigned a general session or breakout session time slot.
