Chas A Blatchford & Sons, headquartered in Basingstoke, England, announced that three of its O&P technicians swept the Limbcare Technician of the Year Awards at the British Association of Prosthetists and Orthotists (BAPO) Annual Conference held March 20-22, in Manchester, England.
Helen Gamble, a trainee technician from Nottingham Mobility Centre earned first place. David Beal, in second place, works at the Mobility and Specialised Rehabilitation Centre, Sheffield. Jordan Lloyd, a CAD/CAM technician from Blatchford’s central fabrication manufacturing base in Sheffield, received the third place award.
The award is sponsored by Limbcare and run by BAPO to recognize technicians who go “that extra mile.” The winners will share the £500 prize.
