The O&P EDGE has extended the closing date of its Salary Survey from Wednesday, July 15, through Wednesday, July 22. The survey is open to all orthotic, prosthetic, pedorthic, and post-mastectomy professionals who work in the United States, including fitters and technicians.

Results of the survey will be published in the October issue of The O&P EDGE. All respondents who complete the survey and provide an e-mail address will be entered into a drawing for a free GoPro HERO3, valued at $199. (Chances of winning are estimated at 1 in 350.) Respondent information and e-mail addresses will not be linked; all responses will be anonymous.
Data from the survey, which has been conducted biannually since 2011, provides information to help practitioners stay competitive in the marketplace and to help business owners attract and retain employees. It can also gauge the effects of legislation, the reimbursement landscape, and the increased entry-level education for orthotists and prosthetists on the profession.
