Brittany Stresing, CPO, owner and president of LimBionics of Durham, North Carolina, was named one of Durham’s Women of Achievement by Durham Magazine. Her profile was among other honorees presented in the May “Women’s Issue,” the third consecutive year that the magazine has devoted an issue that “features incredible women bolstering Durham’s businesses, arts organizations, nonprofits, schools, and homes,” per the magazine’s website.
Stresing has been in the O&P profession for about 16 years, and opened her practice in 2013. She is president-elect of the North Carolina chapter of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists and secretary of the North Carolina Orthotics and Prosthetics Trade Association. She was the first person featured in Össur’s Profile of Women in O&P Leadership, and in March she was awarded the 2015 Healthcare Hero Rising Star Award by the Raleigh/Durham-area Triangle Business Journal.
