Hanger, Austin, Texas, announced that Cynthia L. Lucchese, CPA, has been elected to its board of directors effective May 14; she qualifies as an independent director under applicable New York Stock Exchange listing standards.
Lucchese has held various senior financial positions and is the current chief administrative officer and CFO of Hulman & Company, Indianapolis. She also has experience in the medical device industry, including having served as senior vice president and CFO of Thoratec Corporation, Pleasanton, California, and on the board of directors of Intersect ENT, Menlo Park, California, where she is chair of the audit committee and a member of the nominating and corporate governance committee.
Lucchese earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in business administration from Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, where she currently serves as a member of the dean’s council.
