Jim Medalie has been named president of the Archbald, Pennsylvania, Operation of SIMONA AMERICA.
Medalie holds a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Michigan, a master’s of business administration in marketing from Temple University, and an advanced management program certification from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Before joining the company, Medalie served as CEO of Poly-Flow, Portland, Oregon, a manufacturer of reinforced thermoplastic pipe for high-pressure applications in the oil and gas industry.
“Jim has been an industry leader in thermoplastic sheet manufacturing for more than 24 years and has demonstrated exceptional leadership as a member of SIMONA AMERICA’s board of directors,” said Lawrence Schorr, CEO of SIMONA AMERICA. “We are enthusiastic to have him spearhead the efforts of our expanding Pennsylvania operation.”
