The National Association for the Advancement of Orthotics and Prosthetics (NAAOP) announced that Kathy L. Mascola, CO, BOCPO, LPO, has been elected to its board of directors.
Mascola, a practitioner with Next Step Orthopaedics, West Orange, New Jersey, has over 28 years of clinical experience, specializing in pediatrics and sports medicine. She is the immediate past president of the New Jersey Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists. Mascola received her associate of science degree and physical therapy assistant certificate from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a bachelor of science degree in O&P from New York University.
“NAAOP is excited to have Kathy Mascola join our board of directors,” said NAAOP Board President David McGill, JD. “She has a strong history of leadership in one of the most active state O&P organizations in the country (New Jersey). We know Kathy will provide additional perspective and insight to NAAOP as we look to continue to build resources and support that meet our members’ needs.”
