The University of Washington has entered into an agreement to permit its Prosthetic Limb Users Survey of Mobility (PLUS-M) outcome measure to be integrated in the OPIE patient management software. PLUS-M is a self-report outcome measure that captures information about the prosthesis user’s experiences. “PLUS-M can help facilitate patient-provider communication, support clinical determination of functional mobility (K-levels), evaluate changes in patients’ mobility over time, and document effectiveness of clinical or prosthetic interventions,” said Brian J. Hafner, PhD, lead developer of the PLUS-M.
