The Pedorthic Foundation offers several scholarships to support education and training for students who are seeking pedorthic certification, credentialed pedorthists, and retail footwear professionals/employees:
- The Sidney Pols general scholarship is available for an accredited pedorthic course (precertification or continuing education) with a criteria of community service.
- The Aristotle Mirones general scholarship is available for an accredited pedorthic course (precertification or continuing education).
- The Heather Moore Bernard scholarship is available for continuing education and conference and seminar fees. The applicant must work in a pedorthic retail shoe store.
Applications must be submitted at least two months prior to the start of the course or program to allow for processing. All scholarships are for future classes or programs and will be paid directly to the school or reimbursed to the individual at the successful completion of the course or other educational program. Recipients are selected based on criteria and information provided on the scholarship application submitted. All awards are at the sole discretion of the Pedorthic Foundation and its policies and procedures governing scholarships.
