Donald “Ray” McKinney, CPO, passed away unexpectedly on April 10. He was 63.
McKinney was born July 1, 1952, in Moline, Illinois to Donald and Mary McKinney. He was educated in Illinois and served in the U.S. Army. He graduated from Northwestern University’s O&P Program. He owned and operated McKinney Prosthetics, with offices in Gurnee and McHenry, Illinois, and more recently Paramount Prosthetics, Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. He was known throughout his career as a leader in the industry.
McKinney is survived by his children, Melissa and Michael (Chelsea) McKinney; grandchildren, Mikayla, Jaylen, Declan, Jackie, and Hannah; and sisters, Judy and Theresa.
