Ekso Bionics Holdings, Richmond, California, announced the appointment of Matthias Stief as managing director of Ekso Bionics Europe effective immediately. He will lead and manage all sales and marketing activities in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region.
Stief has more than 20 years of international sales, marketing, and operational experience in a variety of medical device companies, most recently having served as managing director EMEA for EndoChoice, Alpharetta, Georgia, a developer of endoscopy systems and single-use products.
“He is a highly accomplished executive with a strong background leading international organizations within the medical device industry,” said Tom Looby, CEO. “His experience will be invaluable as we continue to build the Ekso Bionics business outside the U.S.”
