Hanger, Austin, Texas, filed Form NT 10-Q with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on November 9 stating that it is unable to file its Annual Report on Form 10-Q for the third quarter (3Q) of 2016, ended September 30, within the prescribed period without unreasonable effort or expense. The company said it requires additional time to prepare its financial statements to be filed as a part of the Form 10-Q due primarily to its continuing efforts to complete its annual consolidated financial statements; its requirement to file restated consolidated financial statements as identified in and for the reasons the company previously described in Form 8-Ks filed with the SEC filings dating back to February 17, 2015; and the completion of the related audits.
