UNYQ, San Francisco, announced that it has opened an office in Charlotte, North Carolina. Lisa Tweardy will manage the office and lead sales and business development efforts. The company plans to hire six sales and tech-support employees for the new location. The move puts the company closer to 3D Systems, headquartered in Rock Hill, South Carolina, with which it partnered in April 2015. UNYQ also has an office in Seville, Spain.
Eythor Bender, CEO, told the Charlotte Business Journal that most of its clients are on the East Coast. “We believe Charlotte is a great hub for that as well because of the proximity to universities…, and it seems to be a growing and prosperous place, which is important for us as well,” he said.
