OPAF has welcomed two new board members for fiscal year 2017. Vibhor Agrawal, PhD, ATP, is an assistant professor in physical therapy at the University of Miami. JoAnne Kanas, CPO, DPT, is the national director for orthotics and prosthetics for Shriners Hospitals for Children – Tampa, Florida. Kanas’ daughter, who has an upper-limb amputation, has been a First Clinic participant for many years.
Nikki Hooks, CO, board-eligible prosthetist, who joined the board of directors last year, has been appointed to serve as treasurer. Continuing officers are Sue Borondy, president, and Karen Henry, vice president.
