The Northwestern University Prosthetics-Orthotics Center (NUPOC) announced the appointment of Michael Cavanaugh, CPO, MSHI, as interim director of the NUPOC education program.
Cavanaugh has been with NUPOC for seven years. After completing his studies at NUPOC, Cavanaugh worked in a clinical setting for another seven years before returning to the program. He takes over from J. Chad Duncan, PhD, CRC, CPO, who was named director in 2019.
