Adjustable check strap

Hi-

Does anyone use velcro adjustable check straps on their AFOs? It would be just like a normal AFO strap that feeds through a chafe and metal loop. I recall doing a few of these a long time ago and was thinking of trying them again but I’m worried they won’t hold the weight of an adult, and I can’t recall how things went in the past.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
