List members:Is it appropriate to code and bill a custom device with a heel filler for a calcaneal amputation as a partial foot prosthesis. The language for coding partial foot prostheses only references amputation of the most distal segments. There is no distinction for an amputation of a more proximal segment of the foot where there are still distal segments intact. Thanks for any input!Bryan King, CPO,LPO
