18 Month Blended O&P Residency

We currently provide a 12 month residency but are considering the option of hosting an 18 month blended residency program. Do you have experience with the 18 month combined residency? Did this provide an effective learning opportunity? Any feedback on the 18 month blended O&P residency would be greatly appreciated.
