The past few years I have been teaching stance control orthoses and find that many clinical orthotists have never used an SCO in their practice for various reasons. I am conducting a research study for my master’s class in Research Design. I am looking at “Why Static KAFO’s are routinely used over Dynamic Stance Control KAFO’s”.
