In response to the posting from McCann concerning study materials for the ABC practitioner board exams ABC would like to make sure all interested parties are aware of our enhanced Exam Preparation
In addition to clicking the “Exam Preparation” link above, you can follow the steps below to locate this information.
From the ABC home page hover over the Certification tab at the top of the page. You will see a drop down menu. Click on Orthotist & Prosthetist. Once on that page you will see a list of resources on the bottom right hand side of the page. One of those resources is Exam Preparation. When you click on Exam Preparation you will open that page and see multiple areas that you can click on and expand for more information. Information on this page includes:
* Test Content Outlines [this describes the Domain areas that make up the exam content and the percentage of questions in the exams per Domain]
* Practice Analyses [included in this area is the Practice Analysis Exam Preparation Guide. This booklet contains additional information about the exam content]
* The Exams [this tab contains a description of each of the three exams required to become ABC certified. There are also sample questions and links to the Candidate Guide which has additional sample questions]
* Exam Results [although this resource was developed to assist individuals with interpreting their Notice of Test Results in the unfortunate circumstance where they did not pass the exam; the sample questions by Domain area would also be helpful for a candidate preparing for the exam for the first time]
