hip joint for hemipelvectomy or HD

I am seeing my first hemipelvectomy so any advice would be appreciated. I am specifically wondering what hip joints people have had success with? His insurance will not pay for a Helix hip joint and the 7E9 hip joint may be an option, but will have to be billed as L5999.  I am currently fighting to retain reimbursement for an authorized L5999 7E9 hip joint.
