Hi.
I´m an Italian CPO. I tried for the first time the REVO-System for a BK-amputee.
The System is great, but I had some problems:
the patient has a long pear-form stump, and has often cramp feelings on the distal stump end.
For this reason it isn´t possible to close too much the REVO, and also he doesn´t tolerate a strong vacuum
So I gave him enough space to fit the flexible socket over his ALSP GPFR-6 liner.
HIs feeling is good, but he looses too easily the prosthesis.
Could it be a material problem betwen the external liner tissue and the flexible liner?
Any ideas?
Thank you very much
