We’re trying to re-vamp our procedures in light of the Medicare crackdown
and have come across some questions we’re hoping to get help with: What is
the policy concerning patients who present without scripts? Do you eval
and cast but postpone fabrication, eval but not cast, or not even do an
eval without a script? What if they are coming from a familiar MD and you
know a script will be obtained?
Is your approach the same with all insurances (Medicare, Medicaid, Private
Insurance)?
