I’m looking for the appropriate code for a custom KAFO, no knee joints, solid ankle
L2308 does not apply due to multi-axial ankle. All other codes are either single or double upright.
The case is a proximal tibial fracture, with support required proximal to the knee, anterior panel, foot section to control rotation and address hemiparesis secondary to a CVA.
The options seem to be L2308, tibial fracture cast codes, or AFO codes with additions.
I’d appreciate any advice.
