Hello All – The California Orthotic and Prosthetic Association (COPA) is
pleased to announce the first educational event at Cal State University
Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) on October 29 & 30, 2010. CEU’s have been
applied for.

Space is limited at this event! REGISTER NOW to secure your seat. In
short, this event will include two separate all-day hands-on prosthetic
workshop and labs available on Friday and Saturday. An orthotic hands-on
workshop and lab is available all-day on Saturday. These targeted
workshops will make use of the brand new CSUDH prosthetic and orthotic
labs and facilities. This facility is housed upon the Long Beach VA
hospital campus – easily accessible throughout California.
All workshop registrations and general attendance registrations are on a
first-come, first served basis. Only paid registrations will be
accepted. There will also be a separate general session with clinical
and business presentations all-day on Saturday.
Business topics of specific interest to COPA members will include: an
update on the pending Medi-Cal intermediary transition in 2011,
California budget update, electronic claims transaction processing,
electronic records and the rapidly changing workman’s compensation arena
in California.
Attendees will have ample opportunities to explore new product offerings
andto visit with the following COPA member exhibitors:
Allard USA, Cascade Orthopedic Supply, Freedom
Innovations, Kingsley MFG. CO., Orthomerica Products, Otto Bock
Health Care, SPS, Touch Bionics, Trulife, and Western Elite Insurance
Services. (Exhibitor spaces were limited to the first ten COPA supplier
members for this event).
