CMS Announces a Delay in Internet-Based PECOS Implementation
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services announced on July 7, 2010 that
it would delay implementation of the Internet-based Provider Enrollment,
Chain and Ownership System for suppliers of durable medical equipment,
prosthetics, orthotics, and supplies (DMEPOS) until later this year.
