Axtion & LuXon Journey Foot Comments Please

Lisa Urso, CPO

Hi List Members,

Regarding Otto Bock’s prosthetic feet, the Axtion and LuXon Journey, what
kind of feedback are you getting from your patients? It sounds like the Axtion
gets rid of that “dead spot” feeling at midstance and was designed for more
jumping kinds of sports. The LuXon Journey looks like it would be better at
accommodating to uneven terrain and has good energy return.

My patient is a 34 yo, active, long BKA female who likes to hike, rides
horses, and plays softball. She does not want another foot with bumpers in it; she
needs a dependable, light weight, energy return foot that can handle uneven
terrain.

Thanks in advance for sharing your experience. I’ll post responses.
