Question

Steve Scott

Hello All;

Recently a client of mine, while going through airport security, had her = prosthesis “swabbed” for explosives. This quick test came back positive = and led to further tests, naturally, nothing was found but this process = did result in a substantial delay in boarding ( fortunately it was a = small ariport and plane). =20

She wears a trans-tibial prosthesis with endoskeletal cosmetic finish = which had recently had a new Dawskin placed on it. Has this happened to = anyone else? Does anyone know what would have caused this and is there = any way to avoid this in the future?

Thanks in advance for any assistance in this matter.
