Good Evening,
I have a 25 year old male below knee amputee patient, who had amputation
2/02. He dropped a dumbbell on his foot while working out. He suffered
from chronic pain for 2 years prior to the amputation.
He is currently on heavy pain meds that he does not want to be on. But
the phantom pain keeps him from being able to continue working etc. if
he is not on them.
Does anyone no of a pain management specialist who works primarily with
amputees, and their phantom pain? Any other ideas to help this kid would
be greatly appreciated..
